How to Install the Client to a Local Ubuntu Computer
Command line
Download Hamachi and install. (latest version here)
$ wget http://www.vpn.net/installers/logmein-hamachi_2.1.0.203-1_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i logmein-hamachi_2.1.0.203-1_amd64.deb
GUI
- Navigate to http://www.vpn.net/.
- Click the appropriate package to download it.
- Open the .deb package with Software Install.The Ubuntu Software window is displayed.
- Click Install.
- When prompted, enter the admin password for elevation.
Once installed
Important: Before you can connect to a network, you must attach the client to your LogMeInaccount.
- Execute sudo hamachi login to log in.
- Execute sudo hamachi attach [email@example.com] using your LogMeIn ID (email address)to attach your client

First Steps
Note: You must have administrator privileges to run Hamachi commands.
Before you can connect to a network, you must attach the client to your LogMeIn account.
- Execute sudo hamachi login to log in.
- Execute sudo hamachi attach [email@example.com] using your LogMeIn ID (email address)to attach your client.

List available networks in your account andyour peers. Networks, where your client is online, are marked with an asterisk (*). For online peers additional information is displayed, such as IP address. |
$ sudo hamachi network <network ID> |
Display network information |
$ sudo hamachi help |
See a complete list of available Hamachicommands, such as joining, creating orleaving networks, among others. |
